Additions can make dramatic changes to the look of a home no matter their size.  In this case, the vision of the home owners was to build an addition on each side of their existing home which would double the size of this small single family dwelling yet make it seem as if the house was bought that way.

The additions allowed for a larger, more private and luxurious master bedroom suite and extended their crammed kitchen and living room to allow entertaining guests easier.  When removing old flooring in the existing home it was discovered the subfloor underneath was in disrepair and would not sustain the installation of new floors.  After discovering this unforeseen situation that sometimes arises during remodeling, we immediately decided on the most cost effective solution for the owners.  With their approval, it was determined the old subfloor would be removed and replaced with new subfloor which also allowed a smoother transition for all finishes from the exisitng house to the new additions.

As General Contractor on this project, we worked closely with the owners on their initial vision to design the exact look they had in mind.  We also worked along side local officials to acquire the necessary building permits, scheduled and coordinated subcontractors, and kept daily track on the quality of the material used.
