Formulation Room 1

Renovation of an existing space included a new gowning area, renovated formulation room and equipment washroom, and modifications to entrace ways and exits for appropriate airflow and personnel flow.  Renovations to the formulation room and equipment room included new doors, FRP paneled walls, epoxy flooring, a new HEPA filter system, and reconfiguring HVAC duct work.  The formulation area also included cutting out flooring and reinforcing the floor with structural steel to support a large specialized scale.  Work for the gowning area included specialized entry and exit doors and door hardware, moisture resistant drywall that had an ultra-hygienic seamless heat welded wall system, and epoxy flooring.

Raw Material Sampling Room


A 330 square foot area of the warehouse was built into a specialty clean room that required 4 sets of interlocking and air locked doors to control proper personnel and airflow.  Work included framing of the new space, installation of moisture resistant drywall, and new electrical work.  The roof was altered and made weather tight to allow the installation of a new HEPA filter system for the room and two new exhaust fans.  The same ultra-hygienic seamless wall system used in the Formulation Room was also installed over the drywall. 

In addition to the building of this new room, several windows in the GMP area that paralleled the new room were removed, and replaced to allow a flush glass design against the seamless wall system used in the Raw Materials Sampling Room.  We also installed additional wire mesh partitions and grates to create a 17' x 24' enclosed area in another portion of the warehouse.
