This one story house was built on a very narrow lot on an even more narrow street. The biggest concern the homeowner had when approaching us in the design phase was being able to create a unique custom home that maximizes the use of their lot while staying within their strict budget.
To achieve this, the house had to be designed and constructed longer than it is wide. This home features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and an open space layout through the kitchen and living room. The main focal point is a gas fireplace completely encompassed in stone from floor to ceiling with the appropriate set up for a flat screen TV to be mounted above. This house stands apart with two complimentary shades and finishes of siding making it easily recognizable. Dark blue Cedar Impressions siding on both front gables give the look of cedar shakes without the hassle of maintenance. Dutchlap vinyl siding in a lighter blue runs the remainder of the exterior.
By using our own equipment especially during site clearing, excavation and final grading we could keep their costs affordable by maintaining complete control over the site and avoiding disruption to the surrounding neighborhood when heavy equipment was in use. Our field staff was able to adhere to the project schedule by cutting their foundation, framing, and custom millwork installation in half and overseeing the coordination and scheduling of subcontractors.
